Terms of service
Terms of Service. These terms apply when you buy goods from The Dog Store online. The Dog Store is operated by Oxford Pet Whisperers Limited. Our contact email is hello@thedogstore.uk.
Orders. By placing an order, you are offering to buy the goods shown in your basket. An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods, depending on the wording of your order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order where an item is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or description error, payment cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
Prices and payment. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include applicable UK taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown before you complete checkout. Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
Products. We take reasonable care to describe and display products accurately. Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on photography, lighting and your screen. Measurements and sizes are approximate unless stated otherwise.
Delivery. Our current delivery arrangements are set out in our Shipping Policy. We currently sell and deliver within the United Kingdom only.
Returns and consumer rights. Our Returns and Refunds Policy explains how to cancel and return an order. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Liability. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order will apply to that order.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in your local courts.
